Michael Cusack is Icicle Seafoods’ new
executive vice president for sales and marketing, the company has announced.
Cusack most recently served as vice
president of sales and marketing for Nissui USA FW Bryce Inc., where he oversaw
commodity seafood sales for North America.
Amy Humphreys, president and chief
executive officer of Icicle, said Cusack’s experience includes sales of Alaska
salmon, pollock, crab, halibut, sablefish and cod, as well as experience with farmed
salon products.
Prior to Nissui USA FW Bryce Inc., Cusack
held senior business development and sales roles with Nissui USA Fishking,
UniSea Foods Inc., and Wards Cove Packing Co.
He also fished commercially for several
years in Alaska.
Icicle, one of the largest and most
diversified seafood companies in North America, has gone through several
management changes in recent months, including the appointment in February of
Humphreys, the former president of Delta Western Inc., a leading petroleum
marketing and distribution company in Alaska. She succeeded Dennis Guhlke, whom
the company said resigned.
Icicle does primary processing of wild
salmon, pollock, crab, halibut, cod, sablefish and herring in most major
fisheries in Alaska, with on-shore and floating processing facilities. Icicle also owns a large salmon farming
company in the Pacific Northwest, as well as a joint venture in Chile that
produces farm raised salmon and trout.
Headquartered in Seattle, Icicle is owned
by investment funds managed by Paine and Parners, LLC., a private equity fund
