Updated forecasts for king salmon on the Sitkine and Taku
rivers in Southeast Alaska will be out in early April, according to Tom
Kowalski, assistant area management biologist for the Alaska Department of Fish
and Game at Wrangell, Alaska. The Dec. 11 Fishermen’s
News briefs incorrectly stated that these forecasts would be out by the end
of December. We apologize for the error.
